servicepackBecome known that is possible that Windows Vista Service Pack 1 and Windows XP Service Pack 3 beta versions may appear parādīties as early as this year’s end.

Windows Vista are in market for some time, but many people said that they won’t change their operational system to Vista until Service Pack 1 won’t be launched. Similar situation was with Windows Xp too. But windows vista is safer than it was with windows xp when it was launched. Turn off, Restart, Log off in Quick Launch

quicklaunchStandard variant to turn off the computer in Windows Xp is Start, then Turn Off Computer and then again you must choose Turn Off, so they are three steps to turn off you computer. There is the way to reduce this action to one step, creating a Turn Off shortcut on Desktop or in Quick Launch.

How to install Windows Xp

windowsWindows xp installation for those who have not do it.

What do you need:

  1. Windows XP Professional/Home CD
  2. Computer with CD/DVD optical appliance

Before you start installation:

  1. If you reinstall your windows, then create backup for all your important files (documents, pictures, music etc) and if needed take down net configuration settings.
  2. Download the newest drivers from producers home pages for your hardware (video card, sound card, motherboard etc), and if needed driver for SATA disks controller.
  3. Unplug your net cable
  4. Make sure that CD/DVD appliance is set as First Boot Device.
    This you need do in BIOS. How to do it? You can read it in your motherboard’s manual.
    Usually to get to BIOS while system is starting you need do push one of the following buttons: <Del> (Delete), <F1>, <F2>, <F8> or <F10>. Each motherboard it can differ.
    After you done it save changes with [Save & Exit]
    With newest models pressing <F10> you will can choose the appliance which will be the first booting device. Read the rest of this entry »

CTRL and C copy object to clipboard, that you can paste, using ctrl+v
CTRL and F opens searching window
CTRL and N opens new window
CTRL and O opens file opening window
CTRL and P opens printing window

opens saving window
CTRL and V
pastes copied object from clipboard
CTRL and X cuts choosed object to clipboard
