dell 6400The Dell Inspiron 6400 is stylish and designed with flexibility in mind. The Inspiron 6400 uses Intel Core TM Duo processor or Intel Core TM 2 Duo processors. It also offers entertainment capacity and more useful for the mobility users. You can also use productivity applications and multimedia options. It also offers wireless connectivity using Wireless Card/Intel PRO. The Operating system used is Genuine Windows Vista® Home Basic – English.

Inspiron 6400 is compact and slim with 15.4″ Widescreen aspect displays with 1280 x 800pixels of maximum resolution. It has shared graphics technology with new Intel Media Accelerator 950 which provides brilliant visual experience. It can handily control DVDs and Audio CDs by handling front access multimedia buttons. The laptop integrates with a 5-1 card reader which is fashionable Artic Silver and Alpine white design.

The Keyboard features with 88 alpha numeric keys and has a prissy track pad. It also has five LED’s and ON/OFF buttons behind the keyboard. It has 60GB hard disk space with 512 MB RAM and a minimum of 8MB for graphics. Serial ATA is the storage controller type of the hard drive.

This Dell Laptop extended with Wireless connectivity solutions and Video Graphics. Integrated with dual band antenna (80.11 a/b). The network connections with Intel Pro Wireless 3945 or Dell wireless 1500. In addition to this laptop an optional Bluetooth 2.0 wireless solution which is integrated with Dell Wireless 350. Video Graphics is structured with Intel Graphics media accelerator 950 up to 224 MB shared system memory. It has a fast Ethernet, IEEE 802.11g data link protocol.

The laptop supports with double layer technology with DVD combo drive or CD – RW optical drives. There are software which includes spreadsheet, database, Project organiser and word processors. The system also has an express card slot which expanding features such as Memory Stick Card Slot, Memory Stick PRO, I/II PC Card Slot Card Slot, Express Card. The Expansion ports such as Fire wire (IEEE 1394), Standards S-Video Port and four built in USB 2.0 interfaces. It uses ITU V.92 Analog Modulation protocol.

Dell Inspiron 6400 – Notebook PC uses smart Lithium ion battery technology. It applies 65W AC adapter power supply. The laptop weighs 2.8 kg and measures 35.6 X 26.5 X 3.7 (WXDXH) in cms. It is supported with warranty for one year.

Windows Vista? No, Linux Vixta!

I have heard many complaints about windows vista operational system. Many don’t like that this operational system uses much resources of your computer and it need good computer’s components. And often people are gripes about windows vista price. But most part of people likes windows vista graphic interface. But now there is made Linux distributive that looks like windows vista – Vixta.

Like all Linux distributives Vixta is also for free. And this operational system doesn’t need so good computer as windows vista need.

This Linux distributive is supported by Sourceforge that is home for many opensource softwares. Vixta is comparatively small project. There is very little information about Linux Vixta but we now that it will be built on fedora base.

Looks that Linux Vixta author is A. Paulo Santos because he in forums talked about this the most active and he announced about appearance of Linux Vixta 094 version.

The homepage of Linux Vixta project informs that 095 version will be soon released. The new version target is to make free accessible, friendly for users, visually attractive, easy configurable and widespread distributive.

You have heard an opinion that users won’t use windows vista before the first service pack for windows vista won’t be released. Many of you definitely remembers windows xp first appearance with big amount of mistakes.

To make this fear lower Microsoft released new patch. It like a wonderful remedy corrects more that 10 windows vista mistakes.

Joost internet television now is available to all users

Joost 1.0 that is Beta version is available to Windows and Mac OS users. I think new versions of Joost will realised very soon, because of big downloads amount and new users count. Joost project was started at the beginning of the year.

Office 2008 will be available in January

office2008Microsoft have announced that Office 2008 for Mac will be available for users in January of next year. Overall there will be three office packages.

The first – “Office 2008 for Mac Home and Student Edition” includes “Word”, “Excel”, “PowerPoint”, “Entourage” (multi functional mail client) and mostly will be for home users.

The second version will be simply “Office 2008 for Mac”, without “Home and Student Edition. Probably there will be available “Windows Exchange Server” (that is for professionals).

And lastly the third – “Special Media Edition” that also includes “Expression Media” that is for photos editing and organization.

And you can translate the text in the other way round.

firefoxI don’t remember the day when I started to use Mozilla Firefox Internet browser. But since that day i’m using only mozilla firefox. I’m accustomed to mozilla firefox.

times (four hundred millions). Although this don’t shows Mozilla firefox users count but we know that many people have favored Mozilla Firefox.
