Englishmen presents revolutionary light solid
English company Ceravisiona has made new light source that has not glower or electrode.
The lamp in principle you can to call unending that you can understand from title – Continuum 2.4. Number shows energy solid – these are microvawe with 2.4GHz frequency. Microvawe ovens works with similar frequency.
Lamp is ideal for using in projectors, in projection tv, high wattage headlights and as well as for rooms lighting. Except power and long using time Continuum 2.4 is very economical too, its efficiency is 50% (for example incandescent bulb efficiency is 5%) and there are not any hazardous material.
Microvawe impulses comes into resonator that consists of aluminum oxide. In that are putted in soldered quartz capsule and in capsule are poured in inert gases that contains small amount of halogen. In resonator develops very strong voltaic arc that makes ionization and capsule’s lighting. Changing gases can get other light colors.
Ceravision hopes that these new light solids get in market very fast.
